What Does Test Tube Do?

Objects of Terror Test Tube carries the Blue Ray, an ability that sprays a Contestant. That ability is the character’s defining tool, while the Steamworks skin offers a separate way to change Test Tube’s appearance.

Test Tube belongs to the Contestant side of this Roblox asymmetrical horror game. Matches pit seven Contestants against one Co-Host, with characters drawn from object shows such as Battle for Dream Island and Inanimate Insanity. The Co-Host’s objective is to eliminate every Contestant.

The game is in beta, so read the current in-game ability description before planning your Blue Ray use around a particular effect or cooldown.

Press Q to use Blue Ray.

Recovery centers can revive Contestants, and automatic recovery centers also appear in matches. Keep recovery in mind when a teammate goes down. The SEASON WINNER badge rewards winning the season as the final Contestant, while ELIMINATION TIME marks your first loss.

Test Tube’s Steamworks Skin

Test Tube has a skin in the Steamworks Skin Pack, which costs 500 Robux. The bundle includes five exclusive skins:

It also contains 10 exclusive stickers based on those skins. Test Tube’s appearance is one part of that larger bundle, so consider whether you also want its other character cosmetics before purchasing.

Every item in the pack is cosmetic and provides no gameplay advantage. Choose it for the look and stickers; it does not make Blue Ray stronger or improve your chances of surviving a match.

The separate V.I.P pass also costs 500 Robux, with perks including an exclusive chat tag and exclusive skins and stickers for Leafy and Evil Leafy. The Steamworks bundle is the one that includes Test Tube. Additional V.I.P bonuses are planned, and game passes are planned to become purchasable with in-game currency in the future.
