How to Unlock the SEASON WINNER Badge

The Objects of Terror season winner badge requires you to win as the final contestant. Being the last contestant alive puts you within reach, but you still need to secure the win. Prepare for that final chase by learning your escape route and keeping your defensive abilities ready.

Objects of Terror is a 1v7 asymmetrical horror game: seven Contestants face one Co-Host. For this badge, play on the Contestant side. Winning as Announcer, MePhoneX, or Evil Leafy earns a separate character-specific badge.

An escape as the last remaining contestant earns SEASON WINNER in the beta. When the exit becomes available, focus on reaching it safely rather than extending the chase for another stun or a risky detour.

Prepare for the Final Chase

Your badge attempt starts before you're alone. Use the earlier part of the round to learn the map, understand your character, and locate recovery centers.

• Find routes beyond your starting area. Maps include connected sections that are easy to overlook during a chase. Explore when you have room, and identify how to reach the exit.
• Learn recovery-center locations. Contestants can bring teammates back through recovery centers. Help recover teammates when you have a safe opportunity instead of deliberately letting the team collapse.
• Read your character's abilities before committing to a chase. Open the in-game Info and Guide menus, then select your character. Knowing how to activate and cancel an ability matters when the Co-Host closes in.
• Watch environmental hazards. Spikes deal damage, and falls can turn an otherwise successful escape into a loss. Keep your route controlled when using movement abilities.
• Use stuns to create distance. After interrupting the Co-Host, move toward your next safe position. Avoid spending that opening standing nearby.

Once you're the final contestant, keep your attention on the route ahead. A successful interruption only helps if you use the time it buys.

Use Leafy's Stuns and Teleport Carefully

Leafy offers tools for both helping teammates and surviving alone. Her Knife Toss can throw up to three knives, with successive hits adding stun time. Throwing more knives before canceling also increases the cooldown.

Choose the number of throws around the situation:

• Throw one knife to interrupt an important attack. A stun cancels the Co-Host's active ability, making a quick hit useful against threats such as Announcer's run.
• Use two knives during a chase. Take the stun window to reposition rather than automatically committing to the third throw.
• Use three when a teammate needs a longer opening. The full sequence provides the longest stun, at the cost of a longer cooldown.

Blue Skidaddle teleports Leafy to the location farthest from any Co-Host, but its long windup leaves her vulnerable. Getting hit while charging cancels the teleport and deals 50% more damage to her.

Create separation before activating it. Watch for Announcer's bugs, too: they can interrupt the attempt even when Announcer himself is farther away. Avoid starting the windup while something is already close enough to hit you.

These mechanics apply to the beta, where character abilities remain subject to changes.
