Objects of Terror Dr Fizz Guide: Abilities & Pressure

What Does Dr. Fizz Do?

The Objects of Terror Dr Fizz kit combines team healing with puddles that slow Co-Hosts. Use those tools to help injured teammates and disrupt the enemy pursuing them. In Beta 1.0.1, managing Pressure matters because Fizzy Grenade becomes unavailable when Pressure is low.

Dr. Fizz is a Support / Defender Contestant with a ★☆☆☆☆ difficulty rating. In the game's 1v7 matches, his abilities connect two jobs: tracking teammates who need help and creating opportunities for them to escape.

His ally information is especially useful for deciding where to go. Check teammates’ health and locations before moving toward them, then prioritize an injured Contestant you can reach without walking directly into the Co-Host.

Do No Harm: Find the Teammate Who Needs Help

Use the health information to choose a healing target before throwing your grenade. An injured ally’s location gives you a destination; their surroundings determine whether you can safely provide support.

Keep checking the rest of the team, too. Avoid following one healthy Contestant while another injured teammate needs attention elsewhere.

Pressured: Make Pursuit More Difficult

Taking damage causes Dr. Fizz to leak slowing puddles. When being chased, try to route the Co-Host across the puddles you leave behind.

Keep escaping after a hit. The passive gives you something to work with during pursuit, but deliberately taking damage spends health you still need to survive.

Fizzy Grenade: Help Allies and Hinder the Co-Host

Aim for situations where an injured Contestant and a pursuing Co-Host are close enough to benefit from the same throw. The grenade can heal the teammate while slowing their pursuer.

Account for the lingering puddle when choosing your placement. Put it along an ally’s escape route or in a passage the Co-Host is approaching, giving its contact effects a chance to matter after the initial burst.

How Pressure Works in Beta 1.0.1

Objects of Terror — How Pressure Works in Beta 1.0.1

Fizzy Grenade cannot be used at low Pressure. Beta 1.0.1 also lets Dr. Fizz gain Pressure while stationary, with faster gain when moving horizontally above his base run speed. Taking damage grants more Pressure than before.

The same update rebalanced Fizzy Grenade for quick puddle use during chases. Build your decisions around both the immediate throw and the ground it leaves behind:

  • Check Pressure before approaching a teammate in danger. Plan the rescue around whether the grenade is available.
  • Use stationary Pressure gain when holding a safe position. Movement is no longer required to gain it.
  • Take advantage of faster horizontal movement when possible. The increased gain specifically requires exceeding base run speed.
  • Place chase puddles along the pursuit route. Aim where their healing and slowing effects can influence the escape.

Dr. Fizz’s Steamworks Skin

The Steamworks Skin Pack costs 500 Robux and includes skins for Blocky, Dr Fizz, Golf Ball, Test Tube, and Evil Leafy, plus 10 stickers based on those skins.

Everything in the pack is cosmetic and provides no gameplay advantage. Choose it for the appearance; Pressure management, healing placement, and slowing puddles remain the tools that affect your match.
