Objects of Terror Teardrop Guide: Skills & Cooldowns
Objects of Terror Teardrop guide: learn Throw and Roll cooldowns, understand the role, and manage your abilities during chases with the Beta 1.0.1 changes.

What Does Teardrop Do?
Objects of Terror Teardrop fills the Survivalist / Stunner role with a difficulty rating of ★★☆☆☆. In Beta 1.0.1, landing Throw triggers a 15-second cooldown, while resisting an attack with Roll gives that ability a shorter recharge. Pay attention to those different cooldown outcomes when planning your next move in a chase.
Teardrop plays on the Contestant side of the game’s 1v7 asymmetrical horror matches. One Co-Host hunts the seven Contestants, and Teardrop’s listed playstyles combine personal survival with stunning.
The difficulty stars represent how challenging a character is to play. Teardrop sits above the one-star Leafy and Blocky, but below three-star Contestants such as Candle and Test Tube. That rating describes complexity rather than a power ranking.
Throw and Roll Cooldowns in Beta 1.0.1

Throw’s and Roll’s standard cooldowns increased in Beta 1.0.1. Both abilities also have a separate cooldown tied to a specific outcome.
| Ability | Standard cooldown | Conditional cooldown |
|---|---|---|
| Throw | Increased in Beta 1.0.1 | 15 seconds on hit |
| Roll | Increased in Beta 1.0.1 | 10 seconds when resisting an attack |
Throw: Account for the Longer Wait After a Hit
A successful Throw puts the ability on its 15-second cooldown. Don’t plan your next use around the standard timer after connecting with a target.
Separate those two timings when practicing: learn the standard recharge, then get comfortable playing through the longer interval after a hit. Landing Throw changes how soon you can use it again.
Roll: Watch for the Attack-Resistance Cooldown
Roll’s standard recharge takes longer in Beta 1.0.1 than at the Public Beta Release. When it resists an attack, that cooldown drops to 10 seconds.
Practice timing Roll around incoming attacks to learn its resistance interaction. After using it, check the actual recharge before committing to another move; the difference between its standard and conditional cooldown affects your next opportunity to act.
Practice Teardrop and Contribute to the Team
Use a free private server to practice with friends. The private server panel lets you disable the usual player requirement, making it easier to set up sessions focused on Throw and Roll. Open the in-game info menu for character guides and explanations of the broader mechanics.

During matches, keep the team systems in mind:
- Complete Contestant objectives. The ranking system rewards contributions to the team.
- Use Recovery Centers to revive eliminated Contestants. Look for opportunities to bring teammates back while managing your ability cooldowns.
- Account for Last Object Standing. When only one Contestant remains, that player receives a buff.
Practice the standard and conditional cooldowns separately before combining both abilities in a chase. Start another round through the Objects of Terror Roblox page, then use the private server panel to work on the timing that needs attention.
