Objects of Terror Blocky Guide: Abilities and Tips

What Does Blocky Do?

The Objects of Terror Blocky kit centers on trapping and stunning the Co-Host. His role gives you a way to contribute through disruption while your team faces the hunter in a 1v7 asymmetrical horror match. Blocky has a one-star difficulty rating out of five, with an intended Trapper / Stunner playstyle.

That difficulty rating describes how challenging he is to play, rather than his strength compared with other Contestants. Golf Ball also has a Trapper role, but pairs it with Support and carries a five-star difficulty rating. Blocky pairs trapping with stuns instead.

Keep the team's objectives in mind while learning his abilities. Contestants have objectives to complete, Recovery Centers can revive dead teammates, and the ranking system rewards team contributions. Use Blocky's disruption tools alongside those shared responsibilities.

Blocky's Abilities and Beta 1.0.1 Changes

Beta 1.0.1 changed two parts of Blocky's kit: Shock Wire's cooldown when placement is blocked, and Crafty Toss's cooldown after an item shove hits a Co-Host.

Shock Wire

Shock Wire now uses its shorter cancel cooldown if Blocky is blocked while placing it. An interrupted placement therefore has a specific cooldown outcome worth learning.

Watch the ability's cooldown after a blocked placement before planning your next use. The shorter cancel cooldown applies to that interruption; it should not be confused with the cooldown following a completed placement.

The same update also changed single-hit Contestant damage sources, including Shock Wires: killing a bug no longer cancels their damage.

Crafty Toss

Crafty Toss goes on a 15-second cooldown when an item Shoves a Co-Host. That timer is tied to the successful item shove, rather than every use of the ability.

After landing that shove, account for the full 15 seconds before relying on another Crafty Toss. Keep contributing through objectives and your other available tools while it recharges.

To learn these interactions, use a free private server with friends. The private server panel supports testing mechanics and can disable the usual player requirement. Open the in-game info menu for character-specific guidance, then practice recognizing the difference between a blocked Shock Wire placement and a successful Crafty Toss shove.

Blocky's Steamworks Skin

Blocky has a cosmetic included in the Steamworks Skin Pack, priced at 500 Robux. The pack contains five skins—for Blocky, Dr Fizz, Golf Ball, Test Tube, and Evil Leafy—plus 10 stickers based on those skins.

Everything in the pack is cosmetic and provides no gameplay advantage. Buy it for Blocky's appearance and the accompanying cosmetics; his trapping and stunning role does not receive a paid boost.

You can play Objects of Terror on Roblox to explore his kit and browse the in-game shop.
