How Evil Leafy Plays
Objects of Terror Evil Leafy replaces ordinary walking and running with rapid, short-distance teleports. This five-star Co-Host has an Ambusher / Snowballer playstyle, making movement practice a useful starting point before taking on seven Contestants. Learn to place those short teleports deliberately before committing to a pursuit.
In this 1v7 asymmetrical horror game, the Co-Host’s objective is to eliminate every Contestant. Evil Leafy and Leafy occupy different sides of that matchup: Leafy is a Contestant with a Survivalist / Stunner playstyle.
The Public Beta difficulty ratings put Announcer at one star, MePhoneX at three, and Evil Leafy at five. Those stars represent how challenging each character is to play; they are not a power ranking.

Evil Leafy’s Abilities and Controls
Teleportation is Evil Leafy’s passive movement ability. Instead of moving continuously like the other Co-Hosts, Evil Leafy rapidly teleports over short distances.

The ability controls use these keyboard bindings:
| Ability | Keyboard control |
|---|---|
| Teleportation | Passive; no key binding |
| Absorb | Q |
| Growth | E |
| Inhabit | R |
Growth places a wall trap. Practice placing it around a route you intend to pressure, and watch how Contestants respond before choosing your next teleport.
Keep the movement passive separate from the three active abilities while learning the character. Start by getting comfortable with short-distance repositioning, then practice using Growth alongside that movement. Read the in-game character guide before working Absorb and Inhabit into your routine.
Practice in a Free Private Server
Use a free private server to learn Evil Leafy’s movement with friends. The private server panel supports testing mechanics and adjusting how you play.

In BETA 1.0.1, private servers have a player requirement like normal servers, but you can disable that requirement through the private server panel. Turn it off when setting up a practice session with fewer players.
Keep each practice session focused:
- Learn movement first. Repeat short teleports along a familiar route before adding a chase.
- Practice Growth separately. Place a wall trap, then practice repositioning around its location.
- Use the info menu. Consult its character guides and basic mechanics explanations while learning the kit.
During matches, remember that Recovery Centers allow dead Contestants to be revived. Keep those locations in mind when deciding where to apply pressure.
